Wow, finally a great coffee app for Canadians! If youre serious about great coffee you need this app! I live in Montreal and travel often throughout Canada for work. Ive been using CoffeeGuru for six months now and am so impressed. I was in Victoria last week and it was a godsend. Havent tried it in the UK, but impressed by the US coverage as well.

If you are Starbucks averse but love good coffee. This is the app for you. I universally find that the best coffee always comes from independent coffee shops. The small local shops are owned and operated by people really care about great gourmet coffee. I havent the app that long and it has already lead me to some really great coffee finds.

I found this app right before a trip to Indianapolis and it was my gateway to good coffee every morning I was there. The map feature to look up the nearest shops around you works really well and enables you to make a choice based upon area or plan a stop on an outing. I only had my phone with me but with this app I was all set.

AWESOME app! Im a huge coffee hound, even roast my own coffee. And with lots of travel this app comes in handy. Love the tasting charts and other cool coffee info. Works great, great value.

This is the app to use when youre traveling to a new city and havent done the coffee research ahead of time. It even has a Direct Trade map for those who are conscious of their coffees origin.

This is my first app review i have done and felt it necessary after acquiring this app. So grateful this app is available. I do appreciate the ease finding coffee hangouts while Im traveling on my journey. This is a must have for any true coffee lover!

This is a great app for the coffee nerd! It shows reputable coffee shops in most every area. My only suggestion would be to enable the search by area. Most folks like to plan out their trips and they might want to see where the shops are located before they get to the area.

Love this app! If you love good coffee you will too. The mega chains cant compare to an old fashioned independent coffee house. This app helps you locate the best places for a fine cuppa joe. It also indicates if their beans are fair trade or direct trade! You can suggest your own favorite coffee house be added if its not listed yet. Coffee guru is well worth the $1.99 price.

This app returned NOTHING in or around Birmingham, Alabama. I want my money back.

This is a terrific app that is accurate with its info and very educational! Helpful for coffee lovers of all kinds.

What a great, user-friendly app! This app excels at finding the local coffee house popular with the surrounding neighborhoods. These local places almost invariably use fresher beans--many times locally roasted--than larger, chain coffee shops, which results in an amazing taste difference in your beverage of choice. This is easily one of my favorite apps!

This app helps find local Third Wave coffee shops, however the info provided about those shops is minimal. I end up looking first at Coffee Guru to find some shops, then head over to Yelp to look up review and pictures. If there was a way to dump Coffee Gurus rating system (which almost no one uses), pictures, and reviews altogether, in favor of a link to Yelp, that would actually improve the app a ton. The user interface also isnt HD. I like the app, but there simply arent enough users of it for the review system to be effective, so a switch to integrating other services (Yelp or Foursquare) would improve the usability.

I love that I can find other coffee lovers that believe in small business when Im on the road!

Locating good coffee shops is hard to do. App is very helpful and useful when you want really good coffee

The idea behind the app is amazing. Id love to have an app when traveling that helps me find the best third wave coffee shops around. But this app fails in so many respects. Th design is cheesy and doesnt work well. The profiles for the shops offer little to no useful information and the one time I used it it gave wrong information. It doesnt appear anyone uses the ratings. Also the search is dreadful. I couldnt get it to work for the life of me and all I was trying to do was look ahead of time at shops. Needs a complete overhaul. You should not be charging for this app.

Do not waste your money! I tried to locate the local shops that I visit and it could even do that! Total waste of two dollars

It couldnt find any shops nearby. Needs to be updated to current iOS.

Ive been using this app for a while & have found it a useful go-to tool for finding great coffee in my travels. I love the new features like adding photographs and News. Ive added a few coffeehouses myself and the developers are super responsive! If you love frequenting independent coffeehouses rather than the big box chains youve got to check this one out

I travel for work across the USA, and am always disappointed with the coffee at hotels. A colleague told me about this app, and it has really saved me on many mornings! I have found excellent coffee shops close to my hotels, or along the route of my sales work.
